The director of BOK-MCC decided that the exceptional works of artists participating in the International Ceramic and Sculpture Symposium would be presented during the city’s largest festival. A spherical tent—a gallery with sculptures by artists who worked in Bolesławiec during the symposium—was erected in Bolesławiec Market Square.

Sixteen artists from Mexico, the USA, Austria, France, Belarus, Ukraine, Italy, Spain and Poland worked in June at three ceramic plants in our city. Since Friday, their works have been on display in a gallery under a dome specially built for the exhibition.

The sculptures, illuminated at night, are attracting considerable interest from visitors. For the first time, the artists’ works have left the walls of the BOK-MCC gallery. This is a breakthrough in presenting the symposium participants’ achievements. Until now, the post-symposium opening was held in December and attended by the artists and a handful of interested viewers. Now it has become part of the Bolesławiec Ceramics Festival and has been noticed by a broad audience.
