The incident occurred on 22 August on the road between Brzeźnik and Parzyce (on a long straight stretch where traffic incidents frequently occur). A driver of an Auto-Linia minibus, travelling towards Bolesławiec, noticed a BMW stopped on the roadside. While the passenger car was still moving, its bonnet opened and smashed the windshield. The minibus driver safely pulled over to help the BMW driver. At that moment, a woman driving a Kia, who was unable to brake in time, crashed into the rear of the Auto-Linia vehicle.
Only the Kia driver was injured in the collision. She was taken to hospital.
