We were asked to publicize the issue by our Reader, a resident of the Śluzowa housing estate. In an email to the editorial office, he wrote:
Some time ago, I wrote about the lack of a road from the new Śluzowa housing estate. Recently, construction work began here on the purchased plots, and along with it a “temporary” road is being built from the Śluzowa housing estate to Warszawska Street (toward the Tax Office).
This road is not merely a connection between these two streets; it greatly relieves the only entrance and exit that previously existed. In addition, residents of Bolesławiec use this road to reach the nearby plots and the cemetery.
He added: “We are very happy that this road is being built, even if it is temporary; we hope that a heavy downpour will not wash it away.”
