Friday’s performance consisted of five scenes portraying the life of the Zagryziak family. The characters experienced dilemmas familiar to everyone. There were family arguments, conflicts between parents and children, and financial problems.
One day, Teodor Zagryziak, the head of the family, decides that he will become a member of parliament. From that point on, the plot revolves around this subject. "Teodor Zagryziak was born, attended various schools and studied at various universities. He is ambitious, talented, brave, independent, stubborn, ready and united. He promises nothing and keeps his word. He is running on behalf of the Party of Defenders of Order, Honesty, Liberalism and Material Resourcefulness (P.O.P.U.L.i Z.M.)." This slogan can be read on his election leaflets. How will his political career end?
Between each scene, as befits a proper television series, there had to be a commercial break. The artists presented several parodies of advertisements known from television. The entire performance was full of allusions to events taking place in the country. Political issues were also addressed, including the subject of high parliamentary allowances and widespread corruption.
The performance attracted a sizeable audience. Afterward, viewers had the opportunity to sign the Na Boku cabaret’s commemorative book.
The group has existed for nearly a year and a half. Its founder is Franciszek Uściński, who also oversees the musical accompaniment for the performances and writes the scripts. Maria Czubaszek, Andrzej Dołęgowski, Ludwik Górski, Andrzej Nowicki and Janusz Osęk helped him create the Zagryziak script. The cabaret featured Helena Jerominow (wife), Bogusław Weiss (husband), Jolanta Wereszczuk (daughter) and Paweł Miklaszewski (son). Patrycja Lisiecka, Paulina Wereszczuk, Angelika Miller, Aleksander Farynom and Łukasz Szwedo also appeared on stage. The group is very happy to welcome new actors.
