A resident of Bolesławiec, Jacek Ostrowski, has passed away. A carpenter and author of the book “I Wanted to Be a Priest” (published under the pseudonym Ignacy Nowakowski), which earned the recognition of Krzysztof Zanussi himself, a distinguished Polish director. He organized, among other events, a meeting with Fr. Adam Boniecki. A reader and supporter of “Tygodnik Powszechny.” He was 56 years old.
The funeral ceremony will take place on Wednesday, July 31 at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Municipal Cemetery in Bolesławiec. The Istotne.pl editorial team extends its sincerest condolences to the deceased’s family.
