At the main entrance, work is underway to dry out and modernize the external stairs. As part of the modernization, a six-person internal lift is planned, which will make the building accessible to people with mobility disabilities. Installation of the lift is nearly complete. The project “Renovation and Restoration of the Façade of the Bolesławiec Town Hall” is co-financed by the European Union from the European Regional Development Fund as part of the Regional Operational Programme for the Lower Silesian Voivodeship for 2007–2013. The total value of the project is PLN 2,949,854.94, while the funding amounts to PLN 1,691,094.69, i.e. 64.79% of eligible expenditure.

During the implementation of the project, the scope of work was expanded to include repairs to the town hall tower and the main entrance stairs. For this purpose, new conservation programmes were prepared and an application was submitted to the heritage conservator for a decision authorizing the works in accordance with the new conservation programmes. The work is scheduled to be completed by the end of September this year.
