Zagłębie II Lubin arrived in Bolesławiec with a very strong lineup. Half of the starting eleven consisted of players from I-league Zagłębie. As a result, Saturday’s match was practically played in one half of the pitch. Already in the 6th minute, Łukasz Mierzejewski beat BKS goalkeeper Piotr Zając with a header. Mierzejewski scored another goal as well. In the 14th minute, after a cross into the BKS penalty area, the Zagłębie player put the ball into the hosts’ net with a shot from his foot. In the 19th, 27th and 42nd minutes, effective interventions by the BKS goalkeeper prevented the team from conceding further goals. BKS launched several harmless attacks on Zagłębie’s goal. Grzegorz Nowak came closest to scoring, but the ball played to him was so inaccurate that our player could not reach it.

It rained for almost the entire second half, but this did not stop the visiting players from scoring further goals. The third goal for Zagłębie came in the 48th minute. David Kaolusek was the scorer. After conceding the third goal, the Bolesławiec team played more offensively. Despite our players’ ambitious and combative performance, the visitors continued to dominate the match. Zagłębie attacked down the wings. Long and accurate passes, speed and technical ability were the elements in which the visitors clearly outclassed our players. In the 62nd minute, Rafał Piętka scored Zagłębie’s fourth goal. Five minutes later, Paweł Pytlarz made it 0–5. The player produced an individual move, beating the BKS defense and goalkeeper. The visitors’ next goal came in the 84th minute. Łukasz Mierzejewski scored for the third time in the match. Stanisław Dziekan set the final score at 0–7. BKS Bolesławiec lost to Zagłębie II Lubin 0–7.
