Janina Ożga-Hołda belongs to the pioneering generation of graduates of the Academy of Fine Arts in Wrocław. She studied under Professors Geppert, Dołżycki and Pękalski. From the 1970s, she worked in Chicago, where she belonged to the Art Club.
The exhibition in Bolesławiec presents a cross-section of her paintings, prints, textiles and small-scale sculptures, inspired by the beauty of Florida’s ocean coastline.
The works are on display in the foyer of the Forum cinema, part of the Bolesławiec Cultural Centre, until 10 August, daily from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. (except Thursdays, when it is open until 4:00 p.m.).
