On that day, all the institutions prepared their promotional stands and performances. The preschoolers from the preschool on Ceramiczna Street performed a dance routine to music from the film “The Lion King”. The dance consisted of two parts: “The Circle of Life” and “I Just Can’t Wait to Be King”. The young dancers wore special makeup styled to make them look like real lion cubs.
The preschoolers from the branch of the preschool on Dolne Młyny Street presented a staging of the song “The Magical Goldfish”. Fabian Maczel, a soloist with the ensemble, played the fisherman. The older children also performed a medley of dances consisting of three pieces: “Nigun Atik” (Israel), “Teddy Bears Picnic” – “Bear Dance”, and “Pata, Pata” (Africa). The audience gathered in the Market Square rewarded the young artists’ performances with thunderous applause.
