The Jelenia Góra Zone Championship for Middle Schools in Beach Volleyball is now behind us. In the boys’ category, the team from Gimnazjum No. 2 in Kamienna Góra proved the best. The volleyball players from GS No. 4 in Bolesławiec took second place, playing in the following lineup: Piotr Bodzioch, Rafał Górniak and Arkadiusz Tokarczuk. The players from Jeżów Sudecki came third.
In the girls’ category, the volleyball players from Gimnazjum No. 2 in Kamienna Góra won. The team from Lubawka came second, while the team from Jerzmanki finished third. The representatives of GS No. 4 in Bolesławiec (Kamila Kucińska, Weronika Guszpil and Marcelina Chuchro) finished fourth. The coach of both Bolesławiec teams is Tomasz Zabawa.
The competition was organized by the Inter-School Sports Centre, which operates within the structures of the County Centre for Education and Staff Training in Bolesławiec. The boys’ team from GS No. 4 qualified for the regional final, which will take place on June 24 in Strzelin.
