The run took the form of a relay on a route more than 102 km long (the idea of the relay run’s originator, Dariusz Kwaśniewski, a member of the Bolesławiec County Board, was continued).

The route passed through all six municipalities of our county. During the run, various activities related to a healthy lifestyle and physical activity took place in the square (parking lot) in front of the City Center gallery in Bolesławiec, including a blood donation drive, registration of potential bone marrow donors and a spinning workout).

Ninety-nine runners and a dog named Zenek took part in the second edition of RUNdka z Powiatem. The youngest participants were just 16 months old, while the oldest competitor, Rajmund Bączyk, was 73. “Ten hours of joyful running. No competition, no rushing. Wonderful people, a great atmosphere and priceless memories,” summed up the event’s organizers.
