We want to put the old saying “a healthy mind in a healthy body” into practice, which is why we invite everyone tired out by winter to Galeria Bolesławiec City Center. Come with your whole families. You can not only cheer, but also—and we especially encourage you to do so—take part in the sporting events we are organizing and shop at your favorite stores, where spring and summer collections are already in full swing.
We begin at 9:00 a.m., when the “Rundka z Powiatem” will start from the main entrance of BCC. This recurring running event aims not only to promote running sports, but also offers an opportunity to visit the most beautiful corners of Powiat Bolesławiecki. The route runs through the most beautiful areas of Borów Dolnośląskich. We also hope that the RUNdka will be excellent, direct training before the city run organized by the Municipal Office on Sunday.
Immediately after the relay starts, at 10:30 a.m., a football morning will begin, hosted by Footbal Academy, a professional football school run by Damian Sawczak. We invite all children together with their parents. Demonstrations, games, team activities and a shooting contest await you. Great sports prizes are up for grabs.
While waiting for the participants of the “Rundka z Powiatem,” a spinning marathon will take place from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the entrance to Galeria BCC. This is currently one of the most popular forms of fitness, during which more than 1,000 calories are burned in a one-hour workout. The struggle with one’s own weaknesses will be accompanied by energetic music and charismatic leader Daniel Milewicz.
The finish of the “Rundka z Powiatem” is expected around 7:00 p.m. “We hope that on this day BCC will once again become the heart of the city and the county. We are pleased that the Gallery has become a partner of both the city itself and the county,” emphasizes Edyta Bystra of ANTAN Development Polska, the company that owns Galeria Bolesławiec City Center.
Throughout the day, you will also be able to receive dietary advice and talk about health and healthy living with representatives of the Powiatowa Stacja Sanitarna. On level -1, you will also find an exhibition of works by children from schools in Bolesławiec, showing how they imagine health.
