Another Category C squash tournament is behind us. The competition took place on 4 May in Wrocław. Forty people took part, including five residents of Bolesławiec: Wiesław Zubiel, Grzegorz Darul, Łukasz Lisiewicz, Rajmund Śledziński and Rafał Iwan. Łukasz Lisiewicz reached the final once again, where, unfortunately, he had to acknowledge his opponent’s superiority and ultimately finished second. Grzegorz Darul placed 14th. Wiesław Zubiel was twenty-sixth, Rajmund Śledziński – thirtieth, and Rafał Iwan – thirty-seventh.
The tournament was organised to a very high standard. Most of the more important matches were played on a world-class glass court. For some players, it was their first experience playing in this type of enclosure.
