The opening of the exhibition of photographs and documents “Kruszyn Yesterday and Today” took place on 25 April at the Municipal Cultural Centre in Bolesławiec, based in Kruszyn. Visitors to the opening had the opportunity to watch a multimedia presentation by Krzysztof Kozicki entitled “Kruszyn – My Favourite Places”. The exhibition was officially opened by Grażyna Łucka and Wojciech Weselak, councillors of the Bolesławiec Municipal Council.
The history of the village was presented by historian and archivist Sebastian Zielonka, while Zdzisław Abramowicz, a well-known regionalist, spoke about interesting facts connected with Kruszyn. The exhibition was accompanied by a display of artwork prepared by children from the art studio under the supervision of Krystyna Grela.
The event was organised by the Public Library in Kruszyn. The exhibition can be visited until 18 May. More information is available on the GOKiS website.
