The NGO Forum “Let’s Get to Know Each Other and Settle the Project Properly” was held on Friday, April 19, in the Council Chamber (Bolesławiec Town Hall). Representatives of a dozen or so non-governmental organizations from our county, local-government officials and Wojciech Staniewski from the Tratwa Association took part. The meeting was opened by Bolesławiec deputy mayor Kornel Filipowicz and member of the Bolesławiec County Board Dariusz Kwaśniewski.
During the forum, Magdalena Głogowska, president of the Trójrzecze association, presented good practices in settling projects carried out במסגרת open calls for proposals. The presentation was followed by a discussion about NGOs (non-governmental organizations), moderated by Edytę Rząsę, an adviser at the NGO Incubator in Bolesławiec and a trainer, as well as a debate on monitoring projects carried out במסגרת open calls for proposals, with the participation of Beaty Dolatowskiej, inspector for non-governmental organizations at the Bolesławiec Town Hall__.
The meeting concluded with presentations on the activities of non-governmental organizations from Bolesławiec County. Alicja Janiec spoke about the Association of Active Women from Lipiany (Bolesławiec municipality), while Andrzej Peter presented the “Gryf” Foundation for Supporting Equestrian Tourism and Recreation from Pasternik (Gromadka municipality).
The forum was organized by: the Local NGO Incubator operating at the Bolesławiec Economic Society, Bolesławiec Town Hall, the Lower Silesian Federation of Non-Governmental Organizations, and the “Tratwa” Center for Disasters and Natural Calamities. Honorary patronage over the event was provided by mayor Piotr Roman and county head Cezary Przybylski.
