On Saturday (April 20), BKS played an away match against Twardy Świętoszów. From the opening minutes, the Bolesławiec players dominated on the pitch in Osiecznica. They confirmed their advantage in the 15th minute. Paweł Żmudziński shot at Twardy’s goal. The goalkeeper intervened, but Marcin Kraśnicki jumped highest to reach the ball he had parried and headed it into the net. A minute later, Łukasz Rudyk was shown a red card for a foul on a BKS player. The Twardy player fouled the BKS player when he did not have the ball. Playing with a numerical advantage, BKS pressed on, and in the 32nd minute the match’s most beautiful goal was scored. With a perfect pass from 30 metres, Jacek Bochnia set up Kamil Mielnik, who ran into the penalty area and struck the ball first time with his left foot. The Świętoszów goalkeeper was helpless at that moment.

BKS scored its third goal in the 39th minute. Emmanuel Ohagwu took advantage of the confusion in front of goal. Popularly known as Manu, with three players around him, he turned with the ball and calmly sent it into the Świętoszów goal. The first half was an absolute domination by BKS. Paweł Żmudziński’s team had the advantage in every respect. Twardy managed only one dangerous shot at Manuel Kowalski’s goal. However, the ball flew over the BKS crossbar. The Świętoszów players also appealed for a penalty, suggesting that a BKS player had handled the ball while blocking another shot, but the referee saw no infringement.

After the change of ends, the fans saw no more goals. The pace of the match also clearly dropped. BKS defended its goal intelligently and attacked from time to time. Zbigniew Mastalerz came close to extending the lead. The post saved Twardy from conceding a fourth goal. Krzysztof Janicki also failed to take advantage of a good opportunity: in a promising position, he chose not to shoot and instead played the ball poorly. The goals conceded and playing a man down clearly demoralised the Świętoszów players, who were unable to threaten the BKS goal in any way. It is worth noting that in the second half Twardy did not register a single shot on target against Manuel Kowalski. The match ended 3–0 to the Bolesławiec side. On April 27 (Saturday), BKS will host GKS Warta Bolesławiecka. Kick-off is at 5:00 p.m.
