On Saturday (13 April), BKS hosted Jawa Otok. BKS were the dominant side from the start. Just after the match began, Damian Kamuda hit the crossbar of Otok’s goal. In the 8th minute, following a cross by Zbigniew Mastalerz, BKS’s new striker Marcin Kraśnicki scored. The hosts wanted to follow up, but Dawid Kizyma performed well in the visitors’ goal. Józek Pietrzak came close to scoring, but after his header the Otok goalkeeper deflected the ball for a corner. Jawa’s goalkeeper conceded only in the 41st minute, after a header by Paweł Glanc. BKS’s advantage in the first half was unquestionable. The visitors managed one shot on Manuel Kowalski’s goal and struggled to get out of their own half.
BKS continued to press in the second half, but the Bolesławiec side played inaccurately and wasted further chances. Jacek Bochnia missed the best opportunity to extend the lead: one-on-one with the goalkeeper, he shot straight at him. The visitors came into the game around the 70th minute, but apart from one ball played across the goalmouth, they did not threaten Manuel Kowalski’s goal. The match ended 2:0 to BKS. As early as 17 April, BKS will play an away match in Podgórzyn.
