We wrote in mid-March about the gift that Poland’s Minister of Foreign Affairs gave Catherine Ashton, the European Union’s foreign policy chief. Radosław Sikorski presented her with a coffee and tea set made by Zakłady Ceramiczne „Bolesławiec”.
This week, the Zakłady received a letter from Minister Sikorski. He congratulated them on the recognition enjoyed by Bolesławiec’s artistic craftsmanship. “Lady Ashton was particularly keen to equip her office with original ceramics, and I considered the set from Bolesławiec to be the ideal proposition,” Minister Radosław Sikorski wrote in a letter to Karol Stasik, the company’s president.
