The theme of the musical journey on which the young artists will take the audience is “The Land of Dreams – Signposts of Life”. Poeticon will present a dozen or so works by Polish poets: Jonasz Kofta, Bogdan Loebl, Agnieszka Osiecka, Leopold Staff and Kazimiera Iłłakowiczówna, as well as performers from the Polish music scene, including Kasia Kowalska, Beata Kozidrak and Michał Bajor.
Between the pieces, poems and quotations introducing the mood of the songs will be read. Twelve people will perform on stage, together with musicians who will accompany the vocalists on guitar, double bass and drums. They will be: Agnieszka Baszczyj, Emilia Borska, Igor Duma, Arkadiusz Emilian, Bartek Frączkiewicz, Marta Kwiatek-Kwiatkowska, Łukasz Luka Ludwikowski, Patrycja Lisiecka, Bartosz Mazur, Łukasz Rogacki, Joanna Smętek and Natalia Żebrowska.
The group has been creating and performing concerts at BOK-MCC continuously for 7 years. Concert programmes are prepared during classes under the supervision of the group’s mentor, Ania Frączkiewicz.
The concert will take place on 6 April (Saturday) at 6:00 p.m. in the BOK-MCC conference room (2nd floor). Admission is free.
