The incident occurred on Thursday, March 28, after 10:00 a.m. The 76-year-old resident of Bolesławiec slipped on the rocks and fell into the Bóbr River. Someone notified the police officers, who arrived at the scene within two minutes and helped the elderly man get ashore.
The 76-year-old was taken to hospital.
