The players began training as early as July. They also played five friendly matches. They won three times and left the pitch defeated twice. In their first friendly, BKS lost 1:2 away to Sparta Rudna. In the next match, they defeated Odra Chobienia 2:1. In their third friendly, BKS recorded another victory, defeating third-division Arka Nowa Sól 2:1. Bolesławiec's biggest win came in the match against Czarni Żagań. The match ended 5:1 in favor of BKS. In their last match, played at home, BKS lost 2:3 to Czarni Lwówek.

Several new players will join BKS's senior team in the 2005/2006 season. Piotr Halkowicz and Andrzej Węgłowski have left the team. These players had been loaned from Miedź Legnica, so after a year they returned to their parent club. BKS signed several new players. They are Marek Kumoś (defender) and Robert Kumoś (midfielder) from Sparta Zebrzydowa. BKS will also feature club academy graduate Marcin Szaja, as well as former junior players Mateusz Mucha, Piotr Czachara, Sebastian Łokaj, Piotr Haluch, Jarosław Janczyszyn and Adrian Popek. The rejuvenated BKS Bolesławiec team can be seen in action as early as next Wednesday. BKS Bolesławiec will face Motobi-Inkopax Kąty Wrocławskie at 5:00 p.m. The match will be played at the stadium on Spółdzielcza Street in Bolesławiec.
