During the ceremonial Final Gala of the Industry Competitions, held on 25 February at the Warsaw Marriott Hotel, the Central National Certification Office (CBCK) announced the winners of the Company of the Year 2012 competition. The awards were presented to companies that stood out significantly from the competition in the previous year.
“This distinction expresses the recognition of the industry community and provides customers with guidance on whom it is worth trusting,” said Marcin Andrzejewski, CBCK’s programme director, opening the ceremonial evening.
The winners of all industry competitions organized by CBCK are selected by a jury through an analysis of a company’s market position, its contribution to the development of the industry and the level of consumer satisfaction. The key factors used to verify the companies entered include recommendations from customers and business partners, the results of marketing research and conclusions from reports prepared by CBCK’s provincial inspectors.
“This is the second award for PWiK, granted for 2012,” says PWiK president Józef Król. “The first was the ‘Business Gazelles’ award. We are very pleased with both awards, especially because the winners are selected by external companies. This guarantees the complete independence of the juries granting these awards,” Król adds.
Depending on the category, three types of certificates were presented. Gold certificates went to three-time winners in their industry, silver certificates to organizations receiving awards for the second consecutive year, and copper certificates to companies included among the winners for the first time.
The ceremonial certificate-awarding gala was hosted by Katarzyna Cichopek and Szymon Kusarek, while the star of the evening was Olga Bończyk, who performed an original recital.
