– This is a new chapter for this much-needed institution in Bolesławiec County. We had no doubts about making use of the potential of the building at Tyrankiewiczów Street. We managed to carry out modernization work that will benefit the counseling center’s clients and ease some of the concerns of parents who sometimes have to travel many kilometers to bring their children to therapy. I think that the new headquarters, located closer to the center, is much more convenient, has gained greater technical capabilities and will inspire even more people to use the specialist assistance of educators and psychologists – says Cezary Przybylski, the county governor
The Bolesławiec Counseling Center has no shortage of people who know perfectly well how to help children, young people, parents and teachers. Several teams of specialists work here:
- early development support team
- teaching and school difficulties team
- educational difficulties team
- career counseling team.
Thanks to efforts to obtain European Union funding, the counseling center can boast good educational facilities. In cooperation with the “Rosa Foundation,” it was possible to equip a Sensory Integration therapy room. Meanwhile, the “Safe and Friendly School” project enabled the counseling center to acquire specialist equipment and teaching aids, mainly for the therapy of children with hearing and visual impairments.
The Public Psychological and Pedagogical Counseling Center supports children from Bolesławiec County. The official opening of the new headquarters of the Bolesławiec Counseling Center will take place on March 18 this year.
