During this year’s awards ceremony, Mayor Piotr Roman presented six honorary awards, three distinctions and 24 main awards in four categories (sports, social activity, culture and science).
Honorary awards
Association of Former Soldiers of the 62nd Special Company “COMMANDO”. The association was among five non-governmental organizations honored by the Minister of National Defence for activities supporting national defense.
Bolesławiec Cultural Centre – International Ceramics Centre. The activities of Forum Cinema were recognized last year with nominations for the Polish Film Institute Awards in the cinema and Film Discussion Club categories. DKF-BOK was recognized as the best club in Poland.
Museum of Ceramics. The museum is currently carrying out the “VIA FABRILIS – a route of traditional crafts” project. The project received an award in the Ministry of Regional Development’s “Poland is Beautiful – 7 Wonders of European Funds” competition.
PHU “Elektros” Sp. z o.o. enterprise, Stanisław and Andrzej Stankiewicz.
General and Vocational Schools Complex named after Major Henryk Sucharski in Bolesławiec. The school’s students actively participate in local social life, including the “Save Your Great-Grandfather’s Grave from Oblivion” project under the patronage of the Lower Silesian Voivodeship Office in Wrocław, as well as collections of candles for the Lychakiv Cemetery and the Cemetery of the Lviv Eaglets. The school cooperates with the Society of Friends of Lviv and the Southeastern Borderlands.
Municipal Lower Secondary School No. 2 named after Poles Deported to Siberia in Bolesławiec. The school promotes the city by participating in regional, voivodeship and nationwide academic and artistic competitions.

The scenery at this year’s ceremony was a replica of the stairs of Bolesławiec Town Hall. It was made by BOK-MCC employees Waldemar Cieślak and Paweł Sponar.
Wiktor Zborowski provided the voice-over for the presentation of the ceremony’s award winners. The Top Toys group, a finalist in the Got to Dance program, Mirocław Kuc with his band, and Must Be The Music finalist Przemysław Radziszewski performed.
