The “Colours of Time” exhibition presents the artistic explorations of students of the University of the Third Age in Bolesławiec. The works on display were created using traditional painting techniques (watercolour, acrylic) and drawing techniques (pencil, coloured pencil, marker). Their subject matter focuses primarily on nature—its observation and interpretation.
Painting workshops have been held at the University of the Third Age in Bolesławiec since 2008. They are led by Katarzyna Sas, a graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Wrocław. The painting group consists of: Teresa Jaśkowska, Wanda Kowalik, Halina Kubów, Anna Kurzydło, Grażyna Łach, Bogumiła Łuczkowska, Ewa Maliara, Jadwiga Maryniak, Łucja Mielczarek, Wioletta Pogwizd-Nowakowska and Danuta Satoła.
The opening will take place on 8 February (Friday) in the foyer of the Old Theatre. It will begin at 6:00 p.m.. Following the exhibition opening, there will be a post-workshop butoh dance performance (at 7:00 p.m.).
The exhibition will be open until 24 February.
