The tournament held as part of the third edition of the Lower Silesian Muay Thai League, organized by Dragon club and the Martial Arts Academy, took place on January 19 in Wrocław. Thirty-four fighters (including two women) from four Lower Silesian Muay Thai clubs (Wrocław, Wałbrzych, Żary and Bolesławiec) competed.
The Bolesławiec Muay Thai Club was represented by four fighters: Mateusz Połczyński (-65 kg), Dastin Rydzak (-70 kg), Eryk Sasiela (-85 kg) and Tomasz Stadniuk (-70 kg). All four won their bouts. Mateusz Połczyński ended his fight most spectacularly, knocking out his more experienced opponent in the second round with a spinning strike.
The fighters from Bolesławiec will also soon take part in a Muay Thai tournament, which will be held on February 23 in Żary.
