The organizers of the Bolesławiec Star of Kindness invited a well-known and very popular artist in our area, Janusz Radek, to Bolesławiec. The concert will be free, but the mayor proposed supporting a collection of cleaning supplies for the Children’s Home in Bolesławiec in exchange for tickets.

On the first day of the collection, more than 100 people visited the information desk at BOK-MCC, where the tickets are being distributed. Approximately 250 bottles of cleaning liquids were collected—dishwashing liquid, fabric softener, multipurpose cleaner and window cleaner—as well as a carton of bar soap, several dozen bundles of toilet paper, toothpaste and toothbrushes, and baby-care cosmetics.

Almost everyone brought more than one item, showing how generous the residents are. They eagerly joined the collection and happily collected their invitations. The cleaning-supplies collection will continue until the invitations run out. The donations collected so far have been taken to the Children’s Home.

The Mayor of the City, Piotr Roman, the parish priest of the parish of Our Lady of Perpetual Help, Prelate Dr Stanisław Kusik, and director Ewa Lijewska-Małachowska, together with the staff of the Bolesławiec Cultural Centre–International Ceramics Centre, invite residents to the final concert and all events of the Bolesławiec Star of Kindness.
