Information meeting for potential beneficiaries of the “Be Fair – Internet as a Common Good” project will take place on December 19 at the Old Theater in Bolesławiec. It will begin at 12:00.

The organizers invite everyone interested in participating in the project, as well as those who have already declared their participation in the initiative. During the meeting, all issues concerning the project and its implementation schedule will be explained.

The “Be Fair – Internet as a Common Good” project is co-financed by the European Union from the resources of the European Regional Development Fund under the Innovative Economy Operational Programme.

The primary aim of the project is to reduce digital exclusion in our city. The project aims, among other things, to reduce disparities in access to modern information technologies. Thanks to support provided under the project, Bolesławiec residents experiencing digital exclusion will significantly improve their chances of fuller participation in social and economic life.

Families participating in the project will receive, on a loan basis, a computer set with basic software and Internet access. In addition, two people from each family will take part in training on the basics of computer operation and Internet use.

The recruitment of families from the Municipality of Bolesławiec is conducted by the director of the Municipal Social Welfare Center in Bolesławiec among families receiving social assistance benefits.
