In 2007, a resolution on the principles for managing real estate owned by the Municipal Commune of Bolesławiec was amended. At that time, the discount granted when selling municipal residential premises to their tenants was abolished, which meant that the sale of residential premises based on applications submitted by tenants after December 31, 2008, could only be carried out against a one-time payment of the entire sale price.

During the latest session, councillors made a change allowing a 90% discount on the sale price of an apartment when selling it to the tenant of a residential premises in a building where one residential premises remains, owned by the Municipal Commune of Bolesławiec.

Granting tenants a 90% discount on the sale price of these premises will accelerate their privatization and reduce the number of homeowners' associations in which the Commune holds minority shares.
