The Liliput general store operating on Kleeberga Street in Bolesławiec has joined the Groszek chain. “For customers, this means a much wider range of products, more promotions and even more attractive prices,” says Mrs Irena, the store’s owner.
What is more, Liliput will undergo a transformation—the store’s interior and appearance will change, and service standards will also improve. All this will happen before this year’s Christmas holidays.
However, as the owner assures us, it will remain the same neighborhood store, where a friendly, familiar atmosphere has always prevailed. “This store has existed for 22 years,” emphasizes Mrs Irena. “We have many regular customers who come to us not only to shop. Sometimes our customers say: I’ve come to my second home. They also call us and ask us to set aside a product for them because they forgot to buy it.
There is also a Liliput restaurant above the store, where you can enjoy excellent homemade pierogi, delicious tripe soup and great pizza straight from the oven. Dancing parties are held there every Saturday and are highly praised by regular patrons.
The restaurant also organizes special events, such as christenings and even small weddings. At Liliput, you can also play bridge or billiards. And if we want to have a quiet conversation with someone, an intimate atmosphere is provided by the booth-style seating system.
Liliput store is open from Monday to Saturday from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. (on Sundays from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.), while the restaurant is open every day from 4:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.. More information is available by calling 75 732 65 29.
