The “Protected Animals in Poland” art competition, aimed at preschoolers and children from reception classes at Bolesławiec primary schools, was organized by the Municipal Centre for Environmental Education in Bolesławiec as part of the “Bolesławiec Acts Ecologically” project, co-financed by the funds of the Voivodeship Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management in Wrocław.

The competition jury consisted of: Grażyna Strzyżewska, head of the Municipal Department of the Bolesławiec City Hall Grażyna Strzyżewska, inspector in the Municipal Department Sylwia Michałeczko, head of the Municipal Centre for Environmental Education Katarzyna Graczyk, and trainee in the Municipal Department Elżbieta Mosorka.

Joint first place was awarded to: Blanka Wiącek (MPP No. 4), Sarah Hugeth (MPP No. 7 with integration classes) and Damian Kowalski (MPP No. 1). Honorable mentions went to: Julia Jeziorna, Natalia Dul, Nela Szulik, Maja Łakomy, Julia Pater, Maria Reguła, Paula Konefał, Zofia Zawrotniak, Magdalena Stolarska, Karolina Wiśniewska, Wiktoria Pietraszun, Amelia Kopeć, Maja Matysiak, Olga Skobierska, Emilka Brożek, Apolonia Pohl, Kacper Nicki, Wiktor Soliński, Kamil Gałka, Olgierd Krukar, Dawid Zawada, Patryk Klim, Oliwer Sienkiewicz and Jakub Łętowski.

The award ceremony will take place on 13 November (Tuesday) in the Council Chamber at Bolesławiec Town Hall. It will begin at 10:00.
