On Saturday, a family festival was held in Bożejowice. Many people gathered in the green area by the primary school. In addition to residents of Bożejowice, guests from nearby localities also attended, including residents of Bolesławiec. The festival program was varied. The Zespół Ludowy z Żeliszowa and the duo Jola Pytlińska and Joasia Stec from Kraśnik Górny performed on stage. There were also competitions for children and adults, as well as a gymnastics performance by the Piramida girls’ sports group. The festival ended with a folk dance, which was not disrupted by the rain that fell for an hour. The money raised during the festival was allocated to renovating the local church.

On Sunday, another festival was held in the area of the Park Nocy Świętojańskiej by the church in Kruszyn. As with other events of this kind, there were artistic performances and numerous competitions. The star of the Kruszyn festival was the Zespół Pieśni i Tańca Jutrzenka. One of the unusual competitions was a contest to weigh the spectators. Groups of people were weighed. Fortunately, the competition scale did not break, even though for a moment it showed 500 kilograms. The festival ended with a folk dance that lasted until three in the morning.

The organizers of both festivals were the local Parish Councils and Gminny Ośrodek Kultury i Sportu w Kruszynie.
