Last school year, the Janusz Korczak II Secondary School in Bolesławiec undertook activities aimed at supporting and developing a passion for photography among students and staff of lower- and upper-secondary schools. The school carried out the “Photography – My Passion” project, as part of which four competitions and post-competition exhibitions were held.
This school year, the administration of II LO and Joanna Turczyńska, the project coordinator, intend to continue these activities, albeit in a different form. The photography competitions will be open to all, and all amateur photographers will be able to participate.
This autumn, the school invites people to take part in the “Life Is Beautiful” competition. Photos in the form of A4 prints, together with the application form, should be delivered to the II LO secretariat in Bolesławiec (60 Dolne Młyny Street). The deadline for submitting entries is 19 October.
Attractive cash prizes await the winners: 1st place – PLN 300, 2nd place – PLN 200, 3rd place – PLN 100.
Furthermore, the school administration encourages creators from Bolesławiec County to exhibit their work at the II Secondary School. More information and the application form can be found on the school website.
