Since early morning, hundreds of people have been visiting the new shopping centre. The entire car park is packed with cars. People have to wait for shopping trolleys and baskets to become available. Despite waiting to enter the store, most residents of the county who arrived are pleased with the new supermarkets.

Intermarché is a grocery supermarket. The store offers around 12,000 products. In addition to food products, Intermarché sells household chemicals and industrial goods. The sales area of the Bolesławiec Intermarché is 1,300 m². Intermarché has provided employment for 50 people. “All those employed come from Bolesławiec,” says Łukasz Dudzic, president of Intermarché. “The Powiat Labour Office helped us select and hire employees. We received funding to create jobs. In addition, the Office made a room available to us free of charge, where we conducted interviews with job candidates,” adds Łukasz Dudzic.

The second supermarket offers products for the home and garden. At Bricomarché, customers can purchase DIY materials, gardening accessories, interior decoration items and construction materials. Bricomarché is slightly larger than Intermarché. Its sales area is 1,400 m². The supermarket employs 25 people. As in the case of Intermarché, all employees come from Bolesławiec. The total sales area of the entire complex is 3,600 m². A car park with spaces for 160 cars was built in front of the shopping centre.

The Powiat Labour Office is the only Bolesławiec institution that helped facilitate the start of the Musketeers’ investment in our city. The Municipality of Bolesławiec did not give the new business preferential treatment. The Musketeers Centre therefore began operating without any relief.
