The road from Bolesławiec to Dobra is closed. An oil-based substance has spilled onto the carriageway. The carriageway is slippery from Widok Street in Bolesławiec all the way to Dobra. For drivers’ safety, the fire service and police have blocked the road. In Bolesławiec, the road is blocked at the intersection of Widok and Ceramiczna streets.
Drivers travelling from Bolesławiec to Dobra and in the opposite direction must use a detour through Osiedle Kwiatowe. It is not known who will remove the spill or when; it stretches for approximately 3 km. The substance most likely leaked from a vehicle. Removing the effects of this type of spill is not the responsibility of the fire service. The road is managed by the Dolnośląska Służba Dróg i Kolei.

The road is still blocked. The most slippery section begins at the intersection of Widok and Ceramiczna streets and ends at the city boundary, in the direction of Dobra. We have managed to establish that the spilled substance will be removed by the appropriate road services tonight. This decision was made only after interventions by the fire service and police with the Dolnośląska Służba Dróg i Kolei and the provincial authorities.

Unfortunately, the spilled substance was not removed by the road services. The road workers limited themselves to putting up warning signs imposing a speed limit of 20 km/h and warning of a slippery carriageway. The spills are supposed to be removed today. Traffic is proceeding in one lane. This morning, a collision involving three passenger cars occurred at the location where the warning signs were installed. Until the spills are removed, drivers should exercise particular caution there.
