A resident of Bolesławiec and active ultramarathon runner (he runs distances longer than the marathon distance of 42 km 195 m) will set off from Bolesławiec Market Square on 13 August (Monday) at 7:30 a.m. He will run to Świnoujście. The distance is 444 km, which Milewicz will cover in seven days.
The run is a charity initiative. The money raised will be used to purchase rehabilitation equipment for Municipal Public Kindergarten No. 7 with integration classes in Bolesławiec.
Professionally, Milewicz is a rehabilitation therapist and looks after people in terms of physical activity and nutrition. While working at Municipal Kindergarten No. 7 with integration classes, he observed an increasing number of ill children seeking help at the facility.
“These included, among others: cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, autism, musculoskeletal dysfunctions and hyperactivity,” explains Daniel Milewicz. “It is therefore worthwhile to raise money for a worthy cause. The money collected will help support the children’s rehabilitation.”
The runner kindly asks sponsors and the parents of children at MPP No. 7 in Bolesławiec to donate a few złoty, which will be allocated to the most important needs of these children.
Payments should be made to the account of MPP No. 7 in Bolesławiec
