On Friday, June 15, students from the Major Henryk Sucharski General and Vocational Schools Complex in Bolesławiec participated—together with more than 200 people from 16 schools—in the summary event for the Gesunde Schule–Zdrowa Szkoła project. The meeting took place at the well-known Querxenland resort in Seifhennersdorf (Upper Lusatia, Saxony).
The project, carried out under the category “Organic farming, baking, cooking, healthy eating,” aimed to promote health-oriented behavior, a healthy lifestyle and diet, as well as active leisure activities. The guiding theme of this year’s activities was “Healthy cuisine—cooking and baking.”
During the event summarizing the project, each institution presented its contribution to the initiative. The ZSOiZ students spoke, among other things, about the activities they had undertaken with their partner school from nearby Görlitz.
There were also language games and physical activities. The young people had a great time and integrated with their peers. The group from the General and Vocational Schools Complex was supervised by: Małgorzata Tubaj and Małgorzata Plis-Lozer.
