On Sunday, June 10, the BKS Bobrzanie senior team played its final match of the 2011/2012 season. The away match against Pagaz Krzeszów ended in a 4:1 victory for our team. BKS led 2:0 at halftime, after goals Damian Kamuda from the 16th and 25th minutes. After the change of ends, the goals for our team were scored by: Jan Wojciechowski (58th minute) and once again Damian Kamuda (65th minute). The BKS Bobrzanie senior team finished the competition in third place. They were one victorious match short of promotion to the IV league... All that remains is to hope that in the new season, under the guidance of a new coach, our team will earn promotion.
Football fans in our city will be pleased to hear that the BKS juniors will probably play in the Lower Silesian Junior League. After a 4:0 victory over Włókniarz Leśna, the BKS juniors are in second place in the table. The table leader, Włókniarz Mirsk, has declared that it will not compete in the LDJ. As a result of this decision, the second-placed team in the table, namely BKS, will be promoted to the LDJ.
