BOK-MCC was recognized for its activities last year and received the Lower Silesian Key to Success as the best cultural institution. The center competed for the statuette with the Bogatynia Cultural Center, the “Nowa Ruda” Song and Dance Ensemble, and the Princess Daisy International Chamber Music Festival ENSEMBLE in Wałbrzych.
The Key to Success promotes outstanding personalities, prominent companies and institutions, as well as local governments that have achieved success enhancing the prestige and standing of our region. The award enjoys considerable recognition among local-government, business and cultural circles. The prizes for the competition’s winners are “Lower Silesian Key to Success” statuettes forged by artist-blacksmith Ryszard Mazur, the honorary key keeper of the city of Wrocław. The award has been presented since 1997.
