The Mother’s Day event was held on Friday, 25 May, on the square in front of the Municipal Culture and Sports Centre in Kruszyn. The performers included, among others, vocalists from Mierzwin (students of Bronisław Górecki), children from Żeliszów and Kraszowice (their instructor is Agnieszka Michalczuk), students of the vocal studio run by Agnieszka Orawiec, as well as the young percussionist Eryka Janiec, a student of Leszek Krawczewski.
The audience also had the opportunity to see a cheerleading performance, a breakdance performance (presented by Marcin Janiec, a student of Paweł Klimek) and a national dance performance by the Zespół Pieśni i Tańca Ziemi Bolesławieckiej, whose instructor is Elżbieta Tor.
The concert was accompanied by an exhibition of artwork created by children from the art studio in Kruszyn and members of the art club from Brzeźnik. The event was organised by GOKiS in Bolesławiec, based in Kruszyn.
