The matter was reported by Piotr Roman, Mayor of Bolesławiec, during the May session of the City Council. “We met with the owners of Spectrum Galerie, who proposed a different concept for developing the square at the intersection of Zgorzelecka, Łokietka and Górne Młyny streets. This concept—in its preliminary outline—appears to comply with the spatial development plan,” he said. “At present, it is being examined by the city architect.
The owners of Spectrum Galerie, Roman continued, want to build a shopping gallery along Zgorzelecka Street. A mixed-use building would be built along Łokietka Street, and a two-level car park in the middle of the square. “That is the project,” the mayor stressed. “We will see whether the company’s owners decide to proceed with the construction. We are ready for this investment, provided that it complies with the spatial development plan.
We will return to this matter.
