Recitation competitions are very popular among students of upper-secondary schools. Every year, a considerable group of those who dream of a career in theatre, as well as those who simply love poetry and artistic prose, take part in them. Both groups are able to prove that contact with the spoken word can be a wonderful experience – for the reciter and the audience alike.

Jarosław Kojder, a final-year student at the Zespół Szkół Ogólnokształcących i Zawodowych im. majora Henryka Sucharskiego in Bolesławiec, took second place in the regional qualifiers of the 57th National Recitation Competition and advanced to the voivodeship stage. This took place on 5 May in Głogów. The student of Bolesławiec’s ZSOiZ once again took second place and qualified for the national finals. In mid-June, together with reciters from Dzierżoniów, Wrocław and Jelenia Góra, he will represent Lower Silesia in the competition final, which will be held in Ostrołęka.

The community of the Zespół Szkół Ogólnokształcących i Zawodowych in Bolesławiec wishes Jarosław that his masterful interpretations of texts by Julian Tuwim and Sławomir Mrożek will bring him victory once again!
