The Lower Silesian Cross-Country Running Championships were held on Saturday, 14 April, in Wrocław. The team representing Gimnazjum Samorządowe No. 2 in Bolesławiec, named after Poles Deported to Siberia, performed very well in the competition.
The runner-up in the Lower Silesian Championships in the 1.2 km race was Ewa Ochocka, and Wojciech Karaban was third in the 2.7 km race. Robert Polański was sixth in the 1.8 km event, Sylwia Zembrzuska was eighth, and Karolina Wolska was eleventh in the 2.4 km distance.

As a team, GS No. 2 came sixth (both in the girls’ and boys’ categories). The supervisor of both teams is Karolina Smutek.
