The collision occurred on Thursday, April 5, near the intersection of Asnyka and Karola Miarki streets. The man probably stepped onto the road directly in front of an approaching Ford. The pedestrian was taken to hospital with minor injuries.
The pre-Christmas period ended badly for a woman shopping at a popular Biedronka store. The woman arrived at the supermarket by bicycle and left it, along with her other purchases, in front of the store entrance. When she returned, neither the bicycle nor the shopping was there. It is worth noting that the bicycle had not been secured against theft in any way.
Together with the police, we appeal to everyone to remain cautious and use common sense during the pre-Christmas days, both on the roads and in shops and their surroundings.
