This year’s edition of the Regional Easter Dishes Competition, organized by the Municipal Culture and Sports Centre in Bolesławiec with its registered office in Kruszyn, the County Council of Rural Housewives’ Circles and the County Office, took place on Saturday, 24 April, in the auditorium of I LO in Bolesławiec.

The event was opened by: Olga Burdyna and Grażyna Łucka from the County Council of Rural Housewives’ Circles. The dishes were judged by a jury consisting of: Renata Czerwińska, Halina Kurmańska and Leopold Habiniak.

The first prize in the regional Easter dish category went to the Rural Housewives’ Circle from Łaziska. The women from Zebrzydowa took second place. The ladies from Gromadka came third. The judges also awarded special distinctions: to the KGW from Gromadka (for decor and presentation), to the KGW from Kierżno (for the floral decoration), to the women from Trzebień (for the gingerbread decoration) and to the housewives from Zebrzydowa (for the stall presentation).

in the adult category
  1. Stanisława Witwicka from Kraśnik Dolny and Krystyna Dąbrowska from Otok
  2. Danuta Wiśniewska from Łaziska
  3. Halina Mazurczak from Stare Jaroszowice.

Distinctions went to: the 4H Club from Żeliszów (in the children’s and youth category), as well as Katarzyna Zadwórna from Osiecznica, Irena Szoka from Kruszyn, Wanda Surowiecka from Łaziska, and also Danuta Ziober and Krystyna Klisiewicz (both from Kraśnik Dolny).

The event was enhanced by performances from folk ensembles from Żeliszów, Gromadka, Tomaszów Bolesławiecki and Osła.
