Thursday’s celebration was a musical tribute to three honorees. The State Music School orchestra was marking its 10th anniversary. Aleksandra Sozańska-Kut was celebrating 15 years of artistic work. Dorota Pińczuk, meanwhile, was celebrating 20 years of professional and artistic activity.
The music performed by the music school orchestra, the pieces sung by Aleksandra Sozańska-Kut and Dorota Pińczuk’s songs formed a single whole that delighted the audience. Humorous elements alternated throughout the concert with serious and nostalgic ones. The honorees were not the only people to appear on stage; invited guests also performed. For the first time, Aleksandra Sozańska-Kut appeared as a conductor, having prepared an oratorio-cantata piece for the occasion.
There were many moving moments during the concert, when the honorees expressed their thanks to those closest to them. At the finale, both women and the orchestra’s conductor received wishes and thanks.
