The Inter-Voivodeship Team Championships for Young Swimmers were held on 9–10 March in Nowa Ruda. Four girls from the TOP Bolesławiec swimming section took part in the competition: Agata Knapik, Izabela Tkaczyk, Małgorzata Rzeszowska and Klaudia Petters. All of them performed very well.
Agata Knapik took second place twice in the 200 m individual medley, finished fourth twice (in the 100 m breaststroke and 100 m freestyle—in both cases, she missed the podium by just 0.03 and 0.04 seconds) and once finished eighth (100 m butterfly). In the overall classification, the swimmer placed third.
Izabela Tkaczyk finished 12th in the 100 m backstroke, 15th in the 100 m freestyle and 21st in the 100 m breaststroke.
Debutant Małgosia Rzeszowska also performed well, setting personal bests in every event. As a team, the trio placed 10th.
Competing in the 13-year-old category, Klaudia Petters finished fifth in the 200 m backstroke and seventh in the 400 m freestyle (improving her times by more than 20 seconds in both events), 11th in the 100 m backstroke and 23rd in the 100 m freestyle.
Meanwhile, the Polish Winter Junior Swimming Championships were held on 9–11 March in Gorzów Wielkopolski. Jonasz Szkirpan from the TOP Bolesławiec swimming section took part. The swimmer competed in five events, placing 47th (100 m butterfly), 50th (100 m individual medley), 56th (50 m butterfly), 67th (100 m freestyle) and 87th (50 m freestyle). The athlete set personal bests in two events.
