Several students from the school council gave a positive assessment of the script for an advertising film encouraging middle-school students to choose II Liceum Ogólnokształcące. They had their own comments and accurate observations about how the school they attend should be advertised. They also suggested which teachers should appear in the film.
The students appeared in several scenes showing that II Liceum Ogólnokształcące is more than just a school.
A friendly atmosphere, warm relationships with teachers and exceptionally long breaks, during which school karaoke takes place, are among the strengths of II LO. The main actors in this scene were Adrian Skowron (piano), Aleksander Kosko (guitar) and Oliwia Gruszka (singing).
The students had a lot of fun presenting their acrobatic skills. Mateusz Chmielik and Alan Stolarz showed several jumps and a fight. Dominik Zyszczyk and Karolina Dydak, fire dancers, regretted that in the enclosed sports hall they could only demonstrate their skills without actual fire. Two excellent basketball players, Angelina Żuraw and Karolina Witkowska, faced off against the boys in a fierce contest.
Talented students from Silesia and other gifted middle-school students will certainly be interested to learn that the school’s headmaster has prepared special academic scholarships for them. Every middle-school student with academic achievements who comes to II LO in September 2012 will receive a monthly scholarship of up to 150 zlotys.
The film advertising II Liceum Ogólnokształcące will soon be available on YouTube and our website.
