Partyk Pieczarka, an MKS Bolesłavia athlete, has been representing our country in bobsleigh for several months. Patryk trains under the guidance of Andrzej Kupczyk. The Polish national team consists of – apart from the Bolesławiec native – Dawid Kupczyk (pilot, four-time Olympic participant), Michał Kasperowicz, Paweł Mróz and Marcin Niewiara.
A student of coach Bartosz Gruman, he began his sporting career at Bolesłavia. His main discipline was the combined athletics event.
In winter, our compatriot trained, among other places, in Norway, Canada and the Czech Republic. And although he has only just begun his bobsleigh career, he has already recorded successful World Cup appearances. On the Whistler track in Canada, his team finished 10th, while in Calgary the Polish team placed 13th.
Patryk's dream is to compete in the Winter Olympic Games in Sochi, Russia.
