The nearly two-hour Valentine’s Concert took place on Friday, February 17, at I Liceum Ogólnokształcące in Bolesławiec. The event, organized by the Student Council and its supervisor, teacher Katarzyna Cieślak-Ostrowska, was dedicated to the school’s students’ parents.
That day, the school’s students (and others) performed on stage: Emilia Kołodziej, Alicja Kołacz with Piotr Celmer, Katarzyna Cichewicz with Patryk Blicharski, Artur Chruścicki, Klaudia Sus, Katarzyna Pelc, as well as the bands: SOFT (Łukasz Kozłowski, Krystian Marzec, Wojciech Borzymek, Grzegorz Wełna and Pola Rachuna), Grupa z 2c (Angelika Konecka, Klaudia Modras, Karolina Wereszczuk, Aleksandra Kozak and Artur Chruścicki), The Stinsons (Kamil Walczewski, Dawid Wołoch, Aleksy Zięba, Krzysztof and Tomasz Zawrotniakowie and Maciej Przystarz), HARD (Bartosz Amroziewicz, Michał Żak and Igor Bińkowski) and Elektryczny Murzyn (Bartosz Amroziewicz and Igor Bińkowski).
This year’s concert was combined with a charity campaign. The students of I LO encouraged people to help Ewa, a middle-school student who was involved in an accident at the beginning of January—in a railway accident on her way to school, she lost one leg under the wheels of a freight train (the other could not be saved either).
Ewa needs prostheses for both legs. You can help make her dream come true by donating to the account of the Lower Silesian Health Protection Foundation:
